Houssem Aouar leaving Lyon to move to the Premier League?

Houssem Aouar might abandon Lyon after aiming to pursue his premier league dreams with Manchester City Juninho, the club sporting director mentioned.

After emerging into the Lyon starting squad in 2017, Aouar has developed himself as among the most prolific performers in Ligue 1.

Aouar has registered 24 goals and 25 assists in 135 appearances for Lyon in all competitions.

His results have not gone overlooked by the top clubs in Europe. In recent months, City and Juventus have also been identified with a desire in Aouar’s capabilities.

Juninho is estimated to have cost €50 and might leave Lyon, as Juninho confirmed.

Juninho on Aouar leaving Lyon told RMC Sport:

“Houssem Aouar? When you have great players in the squad, it is quite logical that other bigger teams with greater economic power come to seek the players.

“There is a risk of losing important players,if we lose important players. I have already spoken with the president, we will have the right to balance the workforce.”

Aouar was instrumental to the French side leading to the quarter final in the Champions League. Lyon will play Manchester City on 16^th of August in the quarter finals of the Champions League.
