Chad Gable mentoring Sami Zayn for his Intercontinental Championship match against Gunther at WrestleMania XL has turned into a heated rivalry between the two. The Alpha Academy leader interrupted the Intercontinental Champion’s match on RAW against Bronson Reed.
The morning after, Chad Gable made a statement on his X. He claimed that Sami Zayn had it coming to him once again. He asked his fans who among them would allow someone to blindside them with a kick in the face and not even retaliate. Doing so would make one a coward. Furthermore, there was nothing that the 38-year-old hated more than a coward.

During a backstage segment on the latest episode of RAW, the Intercontinental Champion hit the former Olympian with a Helluva Kick backstage. This knocked him out cold, and the Canadian went out for his match against Bronson Reed for the Intercontinental Championship. During the match, the champion hit his opponent with a Helluva Kick and was about to go for the pin.

However, the 38-year-old got his revenge as he pulled the champion away from the pin and hit him with a German Suplex. He continued his assault with a few more punches and locked the Canadian into an ankle lock. The Australian joined in on the attack against Sami Zayn, landing a Tsunami of his own.
Kurt Angle is willing to return to the WWE to manage Chad Gable
The 38-year-old’s character has undergone some major changes since his heel turn on the April 15th episode of Monday Night RAW. There are rumors that the character will see some changes in his accomplices as well. He may drop his Alpha Academy teammates and instead team up with the Creed Brothers. Additionally, the former Olympian might get a new manager as well.
Kurt Angle recently talked about Master Gable on his podcast. He mentioned that the ‘Kurt Angle Formula’ had worked in the past, and it will work today. He had been watching the rising star doing a lot of actions that the Hall-of-Famer would do himself. This included the Angle Slam and the Ankle Lock. Hence, it truly felt like a rebirth of his character.

While asked about the possibility of managing the new heel character, Kurt Angle said that he thought it would be a great idea. However, if he were to do it, it had to be worth it for him. Chad Gable shares many resemblances with the Hall of Famer, including their amateur wrestling backgrounds, nasty demeanor, and wrestling-styled moveset, making for a great pairing.
