Lee Hodges, a now-29-year-old PGA Tour golfer, won the 2023 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota, on Sunday. Hodges scored a 4-under 67 in the final round to finish on 24 under, seven strokes ahead of the runner-up.
The winner’s share of the $7.8 million purse was $1.4 million. Hodges also earned a two-year PGA Tour exemption, 500 FedExCup points, and 24.3 Official World Golf Rankings points. The runner-up position was shared by three players: J.T. Poston, Kevin Streelman, and Martin Laird, who all finished at 17 under. Each runner-up earned $590,200.
Before this, Tony Finau won the 2022 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. He shot a 17-under-par 267 to defeat Emiliano Grillo and Im Sung-jae by 3 strokes. The 3M Open is an annual PGA Tour event that debuted in 2019. Finau’s victory in 2022 was the first of two consecutive wins for him on the PGA Tour.
