49ers Nick Bosa foreshadowed the De’Vondre Campbell issue moments before Rams fixture
49ers pass rusher Nick Bosa heard De’Vondre Campbell's squabble before the Rams game with the coaching staff, but he opted to stay quiet.

De’Vondre Campbell fumed during the San Francisco 49ers week 15 fixture against the Los Angeles Rams. He felt left out as the Niners opted to start Dre Greenlaw over him after the linebacker completed his rehab.
Greenlaw stormed off the field and into the locker room. He was never seen again with the 49ers jersey. All-Pro defensive end Nick Bosa, who shared the field with Campbell for 11 games this year, revealed he kind of predicted something similar.
Bosa heard Campbell arguing with someone (possibly the coaches) that he did not want to play against the Rams.
In the locker room before the game, I heard some complaining. I was gonna say something. Didn’t because I didn’t want to create more of a distraction, but kind of felt it. So, yeah, I kind of saw the foreshadowing.

Of course, it never occurred to Bosa that Campbell would leave in the middle of the game, which they eventually lost. George Kittle and Charvarius Ward were visibly frustrated with the veteran pass rusher ditching the team at a crucial point.
Ward even went as far as saying that the Niners might even cut Campbell from the team for such behavior. On Monday, they suspended Campbell for the final three games.
Nick Bosa denied De’Vondre Campbell’s actions having a bad effect inside the Niners’ locker room
Losing to the Rams more or less ended the 49ers’ chances of playing postseason football. There are still three games left until the regular campaign wraps up for another year, but the concern is that Campbell’s action may harm the players’ confidence.
Bosa doesn’t believe that. From his point of view, the locker room has been fantastic.
This locker room’s great. It’s always been great. But sometimes, when you bring somebody who’s older in, and from a different place, you don’t know.
Nick Bosa said
When asked if he believes Campbell’s NFL career is over, he uttered similar words as Kittle.
I’m sure he’s gonna have a hard time finding somewhere else to go when you act like that.

The 49ers play against the Miami Dolphins in week 16, followed by the 12-2 Detroit Lions, and finish off the campaign with a trip to Arizona to face divisional rivals the Cardinals.
