Prior to entering the NFL and becoming one of the top pass rushers, Nick Bosa was reportedly known as a big supporter of former U.S. President Donald Trump. Though that dialed down since he became one of the prominent faces of the league, it appears to have rekindled after the assassination attempt on Trump.
During a Presidential rally held in Pennsylvania, Trump became the target of grave violence as he faced three shots fired straight at him. Even though he ducked behind the podium, one shot went past his ear resulting in a bleeding injury. With the whole world coming in support of Trump, the San Francisco 49ers’ star– who once called him a GOAT, also showed his support on social media.

The defensive lineman shared a black-and-white picture of him hugging the former U.S. President on his Instagram story. Trump and Bosa share a formal yet supportive relationship with mutual respect as the latter previously supported the former during his Presidential campaign and the former wished the latter best on the start of his journey in the NFL.

Coming to the failed assassination attempt, the shooter had reportedly been killed by law enforcement after the FBI identified him as a 20-year-old Pennsylvania resident, Thomas Matthew Crooks.
Donald Trump thanks public for prayers for his recovery
After one of the three bullets aimed for his head, cut past Trump’s ear, he fell onto the ground clutching his ear. Secret Service agent rushed him to his car, while he was bleeding from the right ear. Although Trump was fortunate with his survival, not everyone was, as a man present in the audience got injured gravely by the bullet that did not hit the Presidential candidate.
During a public statement via social media, Trump expressed his condolences for the deceased family and also thanked the public for the “prayers and thoughts” for his recovery.
