With just one week to go until the end of transfer window, the EPL clubs are doing everything possible to make new signings. As always the last week of the transfer window seems promising this time too. Many clubs are under immense pressure from their fans who are demanding their team to make new signings.
Manchester United and Arsenal are the two clubs who are in need of some serious reconstruction before the transfer window ends. Both these clubs will look forward to complete the big signings which has been in their cards for months now. On the other hand Chelsea who were the busiest this transfer window seem to have one more transfer to make. Here we take a look at five of the top EPL transfers which might be made this week.
Jadon Sancho [ Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United]
Manchester United have made only one transfer so far which was the signing of Van De Beek from Ajax. They also extended the contract of Dean Henderson after his loan spell at Sheffield and now they are looking forward to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. Manchester United have been linked with Jadon Sancho for months now. But unfortunately United’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho came to a halt as both the clubs could not come to an agreement on the transfer fee. But reports suggest that United are now back in the race to sign Sancho.

Dortmund are reportedly asking a transfer fee of £ 120 million for their RWF. But United are not likely to bid higher than £90million. Manchester United are now going to submit a final bid of £90million hoping that Dortmund accept it. Last transfer window witnessed a same kind of drama where United were heavily linked with Erling Haaland but only to lose him to Dortmund. Manchester United fans will be hoping that United complete the deal of Jadon Sancho this time instead of bottling it out like the Haaland deal.
Houssem Aouar [ Lyon to Arsenal]
Since Mikel Arteta took charge as the Arsenal manager, the gunners are showing promising signs of improvement. Though Arsenal finished eighth in the EPL last season they lifted the FA Cup and the Community Shield under Mikel Arteta’s leadership.

Mikel Arteta’s front three are looking like a force to reckon now. With the arrival of Willian from Chelsea, the duo of Lacazette and Aubameyang has one more player to assist them in goal scoring. But Arteta is now focusing on strengthening his midfield by signing Houssem Aouar from Lyon. Arsenal’s initial bid for Aouar was rejected by Lyon. Olympique Lyonnais are demanding £44million for the 22 year old midfielder. Though Aouar is looking forward to play in the EPL, Arsenal’s budget would be a reason for this deal going down the wire
Declan Rice [West Ham United to Chelsea]
Chelsea were the busiest EPL club in this transfer window. After a transfer ban Chelsea splashed the cash and signed some amazing talents like Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva. With their arrival at Stamford Bridge, Lampard and his side have huge expectations to fulfill this season.

Despite making so many signings Chelsea seem to have one more transfer to make. West Ham United’s Declan Rice has been considered as one of the most talented DMFs in the world. West Ham time and again made it clear that Declan Rice is not for sale. But Chelsea are adamant in signing Rice and are ready to give even £40million for the 21 year old DMF. This deal will be an interesting one to look out far as Chelsea have all the money in the world to buy Rice.
Rhian Brewster [Liverpool to Crystal Palace]
Crystal Palace had an amazing start to their new campaign as they defeated Southampton 1-0 in their opening encounter. They continued their impressive start with a shocking win over Manchester United. Palace defeated the Red Devils 3 – 1 in their second match. But their dream run was halted by Everton who defeated Palace after Richarlison scored a controversial spot kick.

Crystal Palace are now in the pursuit of the 20 year old Rhian Brewster. Liverpool sent Brewster on a loan to Swansea where he scored 10 goals. However his impressive loan spell wasn’t enough to impress Jurgen Klopp as he is heading towards an Anfield exit. Crystal Palace are now reported to be the front-runners in signing Rhian Brewster permanently from Liverpool but with a buy-back clause. This week will let us know about the future of the 20 year old.
Lucas Torreira [Arsenal to Atletico Madrid]
Arsenal’s 24 year old midfielder Lucas Torreira is one among the several players whom Arsenal are looking forward to sell this transfer window. Arsenal who bought Willian this transfer window, are now in the pursuit of Houssem Aouar. Mikel Arteta’s side however lack the financial resources to seal the Aouar deal. Hence they are looking forward to offload many players from the squad.

The Uruguayan Lucas Torreria seems to be in the top of the outgoing list. Lucas Torreira hasn’t got enough chances under Arteta and is higly likely to leave Emirates this week. Initially Torino were interested in signing the 24 year old mid-fielder but they backed out due to the lack of financial resources. However the Spanish giants Atletico Madrid have joined the race in signing the Uruguayan.
