SummerSlam 2024 was an extravagant event. WWE had major success with the show. Over 55,000 fans graced the Cleveland Browns Stadium to witness the once-in-a-lifetime event. From new champions being crowned to the return of Roman Reigns, it had it all.
Moreover, it also featured many surprise appearances from rappers to professional wrestling legends. From the very beginning, the show picked up with a heavy influence of pop culture surprises that set the tone of the show. Stars such as MGK, Jelly Roll, and even the viral ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl were in attendance.

5. MGK
The Grammy-nominated rapper MGK made an appearance at SummerSlam. He was with Logan Paul during his entrance and accompanied him at ringside. He was initially disguised as a security guard before he was introduced to the Cleveland crowd by Paul.
Moreover, MGK was in the closing sequence of the match. He gave Paul brass knuckles to bust out LA Knight. However, he couldn’t help the social media star out to retain his title as Knight captured the win. Later, he was seen enjoying the show a couple of more times at ringside with singer Jelly Roll.
4. Jelly Roll
Jelly Roll was heavily featured on SummerSlam. His tracks were the theme songs of the event that gave life to the overall aesthetics of the show. He kicked off the Biggest Party of the Summer by singing ‘America The Beautiful’. He even performed his hit track ‘Liar’ to set up the tone for the night.
He was involved in some in-ring action later on in the show. Jelly Roll gave a helping hand to The Miz and R-Truth. He went on to ‘Chokeslam’ Austin Theory in the ring. Roll paid homage to John Cena by performing the ‘5-Star Knuckle Shuffle’.
3. Stephanie McMahon
One of the guest appearances of the night was by McMahon. It was none other than Stephanie McMahon who enjoyed the show at ringside. She was seen supporting the superstars while expressing her enthusiasm throughout the night.
In fact, the Billion Dollar Princess had a wholesome interaction with CM Punk. She hugged the latter after his heartbreaking loss against Drew McIntyre. Following the event, Triple H addressed the role of Stephanie in WWE. He was positive about her and expressed that she only likes to enjoy the content at the moment.
2. Arn Anderson
One such name that had no rumors or expectations to show up was Arn Anderson. The latter was backstage during the entrance of Cody Rhodes. He tried to motivate Rhodes before his ‘Bloodline Rules’ match. Anderson claimed that he has used some influence to bring backup for him during the main event.
Anderson was popularly known to be the manager of The American Nightmare in AEW. The Hall of Famer wished Rhodes good luck and expressed his happiness over his triumphs in WWE. Although it was a short appearance, it was certainly an impactful one.
1. ‘Hawk Tuah Girl’ Hailey Welch
One person who showed up unexpectedly at SummerSlam was the viral ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl. The latter was spotted in the crowd multiple times. It was initially revealed by Sean Ross Sapp that the viral lady had been among the crowd and was enjoying the show.
WWE never showed her on screen. However, her one picture was enough to make the buzz all about her on the internet. Hailey Welch has been incredibly famous on social media for her appearance in one of the Vox Pops a few months ago.
