5 WWE superstars who could return at Survivor Series
The Undertaker retires at Survivor Series 2020

We are just hours away from WWE’s only PPV that features the battle of the brands. One of the most anticipated match of the event is Universal Champion Roman Reigns taking on the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

But what makes this event more special is The Undertaker’s Final Farewell. The event marks Taker’s 30-year anniversary in the industry and he will also be announcing his official retirement. But no WWE event is complete without surprises. Here is our list of 5 WWE superstars who could make a surprise return on Survivor Series.

#1 Kane

The Undertaker and Kane

For the major part of his career, Kane has been in association with Taker. The duo was popularly known as the Brothers of Destruction. It is more than likely that the duo steps inside the squared ring for one last time before Taker hangs his boots. Interestingly, the duo shares quite a bond, outside the ring too. While we expect Kane to show up at the event, fans can catch the camaraderie of the duo on WWE Network’s latest documentary, Brothers of Destruction.

#2 Bruce Prichard

Considering how WWE has promoted Survivor Series this year, Taker’s farewell will undoubtedly be the theme of the event. Vince McMahon would not let Taker’s farewell take a secondary role in this event. With so much time and effort being invested in this event, WWE is likely to bring in The Undertaker’s original manager too. Prichard is still associated with the company and WWE can bring back Brother Love for the Final Farewell.

#3 JBL

JBL will be inducted in WWE Hall of Fame this year

WWE is reportedly going to induct JBL into their Hall of Fame. Undoubtedly, JBL deserves every bit of it. He recently discussed in an interview a possibility of his in-ring return. “So, if I can do it, I would love to. I don’t know if I physically could or not, it’s been years since I’ve been in the ring. I think it’s been around 10 or 11 years, so I’m not sure a return is feasible. But would I love one? My god, absolutely.”

JBL was involved in numerous encounters with Taker and it would only be fitting to get him back for his farewell.

#4 Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle

Latest reports suggest that Kurt Angle will be appearing on Survivor Series. Angle too, just like the other Superstars on the list has had some great feuds with Taker during the Attitude Era. Angle was working as a backstage producer for WWE. But he was laid-off when WWE released a long list of Superstars during the onset of the pandemic.

 #5 Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair

Flair is the only name on the list that has nothing to do with Taker’s farewell. Flair recently hinted on her social media that she might be returning. Flair last appeared on WWE TV way back in June 2020. She failed to win the Raw Women’s Championship against Asuka. After that she had gone on a break due to medical reasons. Survivor Series is the perfect opportunity for Flair to return.
