5 WWE Superstars with the most televised losses in 2021

5 WWE Superstars with the most televised losses in 2021

The WWE superstars have had a year of ups and downs in 2021. They began the year with an empty Arena, but following WrestleMania 37, they progressively returned to their regular routine. The fact that WWE was unable to perform its usual house events for the first part of the year explains why their superstars fought in fewer matches.

However, after the limits were released, the WWE superstars returned to their normal routine, which included substantial travel for the weekly shows.

Given the struggles, WWE managed to finish 2021 on a high note, so let’s take a glance at some year-end figures and learn which superstars incurred the most losses.

She began the year by surviving the women’s Royal Rumble match and going on to main event WrestleMania 37 on one night one alongside Sasha Banks, earning the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

She later lost her championship to Becky Lynch at SummerSlam and has since been on the path to reclaiming it. Her record in 2021 is 37 losses out of 81 matches, but that hasn’t stopped the company from featuring the EST of WWE in the main event card.

Robert Roode – 38 losses

The Game Triple H employed Robert Roode prominently throughout the former’s tenure in NXT, and it appeared like he was the only person in WWE that saw something unique in him. His main roster career, on the other hand, has been the polar contrary, with Robert Roode being pushed down the card and unable to ascend the ladder despite his best efforts. As a result, Robert is ranked fourth on this list, having endured 38 losses.

AJ Styles – 45 losses

After losing his WWE Championship match against Drew McIntyre at the 2020 TLC PPV, AJ Styles entered 2021 hoping to avenge himself in the Royal Rumble match, but he was evicted without earning a single elimination.

After a split with his partner Omos, Styles concluded the year as a babyface and is expected to start the new year as one. Out of the 71 matches he got featured in during the year, he lost 45 times.

Sheamus – 46 losses

Sheamus’ WWE career in 2021 was marked by uneven success, as the Celtic Warrior’s start was not particularly noteworthy, as he had mediocre displays in the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber bouts.

His rivalry with Drew McIntyre was also fruitless, but the Celtic Warrior made amends by defeating Riddle for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 37. He lost 46 of the 66 matches he played in 2021, which is a poor result.

Jey Uso – 51 losses

Jey Uso is at the number one spot, having lost 51 of the 83 matches he participated in in 2021. He began the year by turning heel to team up with The Tribal Chief following an intriguing fight with his cousin Roman Reigns. Notwithstanding this, Jey Uso is the WWE superstar that has suffered the most defeats in 2021.
