WNBA superstar Angel Reese has managed to grab the limelight since her college years. Be it her record-breaking rebounds, her fashion, or her dating world, fans have always been trying to follow her life. With her dating life taking center stage just after the end of her season, she now gives some clarity.
The rebounding phenom had stylist Law Roach as a guest on her podcast Unapologetically Angel. First, she asked her guest about his dating life. She manifested for his perfect partner and gave specifics on what that man should have.
But then, Roach turned the tables on her. He first understood that Reese prefers to be with athletes, as she can relate to them. When Roach prodded her to reveal what she wanted in an athlete, she shed some light on it.
I love Zendaya’s confidence. I just don’t know if I had the confidence to date a man shorter than me. And I love that for them. I’m too scared.

Then Law Roach clarified that in the celebrity or Hollywood world, it is not uncommon for a taller woman to date a shorter man, in this case Zendaya and Tom Holland. But the Chicago Sky star quickly reiterated.
In my world, it is uncommon. Like if I as an athlete in kind of uncommon.

Angel Reese made it clear that in the athletes’ world, men are usually taller than the women they date. With her standing at 6′ 3″, her ‘man’ should be taller than her. Like Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren, who she was rumored to be dating.
Angel Reese does not want a public relationship
In the conversation that preceded this ‘short king’ remark, Law Roach asked Angel Reese about her relationships. Knowing that she was rumored to be with a few basketball players over the course of her college and WNBA career, he wanted to know specifically if those rumors were true.
I’ve been in some flings. I’ve been in one serious relationship. I would never be in a public relationship again. When it gets public, that’s when everything gets crazy.

Her revealing that she was just in some flings pours water over those rumors with Duren. But the fact that she declared that she will not be in a public relationship again suggests she will keep things close to her heart.
During the supposed dating rumors with Jalen Duren, the WNBA star wore Detroit Pistons merchandise on numerous occasions. But it seems she received the kind of attention that she did not want in her life.
