The Philadelphia 76ers President Daryl Morey has been making the headlines lately after his recent comments regarding the Boston Celtics on the 97.5 The Fanatic Show. Notably, the Celtics won the decorated 2024 NBA title which did not go down well with their arch-rivals, the 76ers. Interestingly, this saw the 76ers make crucial moves in the off-season intending to challenge the Celtics in the 2024-25 NBA season.

To compete in the Eastern Conference, the Philadelphia 76ers realized what needed to be done in the 2024 summer. Using the cap space he had amassed, President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey significantly improved the team around star players Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. Notably, Morey also made an appearance on the 97.5 The Fanatic show, claiming that his side, the 76ers will challenge the Celtics in the upcoming NBA season.

Larry Brown shares an important take on the 76ers ahead of 2024-25 NBA season

The Philadelphia 76ers signed Paul George through the 2024 NBA Free Agency and made a statement in the ECF that gathered a lot of attention. Notably, this also made Hall of Fame coach Larry Brown put forward his views on the 76ers, claiming that the franchise is having one of the best off-seasons among other NBA sides.
