One of the most loved fighters in UFC ‘Diaz brothers’ are probably making their comeback inside the Octagon in 2021. Nick Diaz is the elder of the Diaz brothers and he is also the former Strikeforce Welterweight and WEC Welterweight Champion. Nick last fought at UFC in 2015 against Anderson Silva.

Although he lost this fight later it was found out that Silva had traces of Androsterone in his blood and Nick was also founded positive for using Marijuana which resulted in turning this fight as no contest. Since then the UFC president Dana White has been asked many times about Nick’s return but Dana White doesn’t see him coming.

But since September Nick has been uploading videos of training in the gym and attending training camp and his manager Mubenga thinks he is definitely making a comeback at UFC in 2021. In his latest interview with Fanatics view Mubenga says, “He took a little break last month and now we’re going to pick it back up in December and go into the new year hopefully with a new deal done”

“We’ll make sure the money is right and the opponent is right and we’ll be able to move forward with all of this. He’s been training for at least four months now straight” Nick holds a record of 7-6 in UFC and his major win came against B.J. Penn at UFC 137.

Mubega is very much positive about Nick Diaz’s return

Nick Diaz’s manager is very much positive that he’ll be making a comeback in 2021. Mubenga further says, “99.99999 percent, We just got to get everything else right with the organization and everything. We’ll be able to move forward. He’s been training. People want to see. Well, he’s been training as you can see for the last few several months”

“He took a little break now. Now, it’s time to get back on there and just go through it. You don’t want to overtrain and over-exhaust yourself, especially when you don’t have a date yet. But it was good to be able to go through the regimen and go through that small camp there to kind of feel everything out and get back with everyone like trainer Cesar Gracie.”

Before fighting with Silva, Nick lost two consecutive fights against Georges St. Pierre and Carlos Condit. Now when the elder brother has made up his mind of coming back it is going to be interested to see whom he’ll be facing and will Nate Diaz also come back with him?
