“I have invested in different aspects which I am excited to explore,” Rafael Nadal on his future plans after retiring from tennis


Rafael Nadal has always been asked questions about his post-retirement plans, several times in the past. Nadal has previously stated that he would love to have children after retiring from tennis, and has also revealed that he would love to continue playing Golf in the future.
In a recent interview to Santander Private Banking, Rafael Nadal was again questioned by the host regarding his plans after retiring from tennis. Rafael Nadal revealed that he has enough projects to work on which include the Rafael Nadal Foundation and the Rafa Nadal Academy which are in different parts of the world. “I have got enough projects which I have started, I have got the foundation which is also turning ten years today,” said Rafael Nadal.

Rafael Nadal lists developing his foundation as one of his top priorities. The Rafael Nadal Foundation promotes personal and social integration and development of children and young through sports, in Spain and India. “It will be one of my main goals to ensure that it grows and help by reaching more children and of course personal calling, I have my own team. I have invested in different projects which I am excited to explore about,” said Rafael Nadal.
Rafael Nadal had a record breaking season where he clinched his 13th French Open title, equaling Federer’s record of 20 majors. He also registered his 1000th ATP victory on the tour at the Paris Masters. It will be interesting to see how long the Spaniard carries on playing tennis, with him being excited about his future endeavours.
