GameStop is one of the biggest retail stores for gaming on PC and consoles like Xbox One X, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. They have also issued an order for its stores to accept any refunds of Cyberpunk 2077. GameStop recently reminded all its stores with a memo that they will be accepting refunds of the copies of the game.

While Sony has already made the online refunds for the game, the physical refunds are relatively easier to handle. Every concole makes are reminding player that the refunds for the game are available and now we have GameStop doing the same for the physical copies.

Cyberpunk 2077: Options to return the game

Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the most anticipated games of the last decade. It was hyped up for a long time but fell flat upon release. Probably in the most disappointing turn of events, the game is riddled with bugs and is almost un-playable.

The game’s pre-orders touched almost 8 million and was one of the most anticipated games of all time. However when the game came out finally, players were disappointed. The game was loaded with game breaking bugs and glitches that made the game impossible to finish in some cases. The backlash reached millions as more weeks passed by.

It was further enhanced as the early reviewers didn’t mention anything about the bugs and glitches. The players were completely in the dark regarding the massive problems that plagued the game.

The social media platforms were seething with outrage from the players who complained the game was unplayable. The backlash was so huge that CD Projekt Red had no other option but offer refunds of the sold copies. This is further enhnaced by the news that GameStop issues refunds for Cyberpunk 2077.

For the majority of the players on consoles refunds are readily available. The overwhelming outrage from the gaming community led to PS4 and XBox putting out refunds.

The patches and updates are already rolling out but it will take a few months for the game to be completely fixed. However players that don’t want to wait for the fix can issue the refunds right now. For players who want to return the physical or online copies, the options are certainly available.
