Warren Sapp is one of the greatest NFL players of all time. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 1995 NFL Draft and played in the league as a defensive tackle for 13 years. The Hall of Fame QB used to send shivers down the spine of the opponent quarterbacks in his playing days. He is considered a legend around the league, but the star defensive tackle often got into trouble during and after his playing days.
In one such instance, the Buccaneers icon Warren Sapp faced legal trouble after demanding unlawful fellatio from two strippers in Phoenix. In 2015, when Sapp was working as an analyst for the NFL Network, he was in Phoenix to cover the Super Bowl event. During his stay in Phoenix, he started a conversation with two women (a 23-year-old and a 32-year-old) he met at the hotel bar and invited them to his room.
In his room, the women, who claimed to be working as strippers in a famous Las Vegas club, danced for Sapp as the Buccaneers legend threw $100 bills at them per reports. Furthermore, Sapp reported to cops that he gave the 23-year-old woman $300 to perform a sexual act. According to Sapp, the 23-year-old complied and performed fellatio, which Sapp recorded on his phone.
After that, the 23-year-old reportedly started demanding more money, and the Hall of Fame DT refused to pay her more. “He told her several times that she needed to leave but she was irate,” a report from the Arizona Republic stated. “At one point, she used Warren’s phone to call security to his room.”
Nevertheless, the 7-time Pro Bowler was arrested on February 2, 2015, for soliciting a prostitute and he was removed from his job at the NFL Network. Sapp admitted his involvement in prostitution but denied assaulting the women.

Warren Sapp didn’t receive any jail time in prostitution case

Following the arrest, the Super Bowl-winning defensive tackle Warren Sapp plead guilty to the two misdemeanor charges but didn’t receive any jail time for it. Instead, he reached a deal with the prosecutors and was ordered to take two classes.
Furthermore, under the plea deal, Sapp’s team reached with the prosecutors. The 4-time All-Pro defensive lineman was ordered to pay one woman $1,171 and the other one $150 for the incident.
Warren Sapp played 13 seasons in the NFL with the Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders. During his remarkable career, Sapp registered 96.5 sacks and 578 total tackles.
After a difficult season with the Raiders in 2007, where he only registered 2 sacks, Sapp retired from football in 2008. 5 years later, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
