Joe Burrow has been incredibly impressive for the Cincinnati Bengals for the past couple of seasons. The young QB has started to cement himself as the most clutch player in the league after the great Tom Brady.
Burrow led his team to the AFC championship game last season and helped them to an NFL Super Bowl final two seasons ago. These performances gave the Bengals the confidence to provide faith in his abilities and negotiate a new contract with Burrow.
The 26-year-old QB is currently negotiating a new long-term contract with his team. “I’m involved. That’s in the works,” Burrow told reporters on Tuesday. “That’s not really something that I like to play out in the media. Just the way I think they want to do business, I want to do business, we prefer to keep that between us.”
The Bengals QB will be looking at a massive contract after Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts and Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson just signed a new contract making them the highest-paid players in the league. “I’m pretty clear on what I want in the contract and what I think is best for myself and the team. So we’re on the road to making that happen,” Joe Burrow stated with respect to his contract situation.

Joe Burrow wants to improve despite having the best season of his career

Burrow was voted as the 4th best player in the NFL after the MVP voting despite being just 26 years old. This gives him lots of time to improve and even challenge Patrick Mahomes for the ‘best’ tag.
Joe Burrow also has the right mentality going forward. The Bengals QB wants to keep improving despite giving the best performance of his career last season. However, the QB believes that there’s still room to grow and learn.
“I think I had my best year last year,” Burrow stated. “I think I’ve improved every year, and [there’s] still a lot of room to grow. There’s always room to improve every offseason, every game, every week. You just try to find a way to get better every year.”
The prolific QB has set his eyes on having a great future with the Bengals and wants to win numerous titles with them. With great potential and a high ceiling, Joe Burrow will constantly keep improving to become the best version of himself.
