Michele Steele of ESPN reported this breakthrough story and with that won the hearts of many people around her. “Everybody says they want to get kids, and girls especially, more involved in sports – but they don’t know what that looks like,” Michele Steele stated on Twitter. “The Eagles are leaning in, becoming the 1st NFL team to make sports bras a part of the complete equipment kit for their girls flag football league.”
It is pretty evident that women’s sports get way less funding compared to the men’s NFL. There are various factors involved, from revenue to spectators, that determine the funding. However, the Eagles have taken the first step and have become the first team to implement such useful things.
