7 LA Clippers score in double figures in brutal victory over Indiana Pacers

The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Indiana Pacers by more than 30 points margin. Having had 7 players scoring in double figures, the Clippers have registered their first 4-match winning streak of the season. With Paul GeorgeMarcus Morris and fellow reserve, Luke Kennard all scoring 20 points each. Marcus Morris came off the bench to score his season tying four 3-pointers with Lou Williams side-lined. The LA Clippers were 19 from 39 from long range. Whereas the Indiana Pacers lacked major accuracy with being just 11 from 38. 

Talking about the Indiana Pacers, they were led by Doug McDermott who scored 23 points for the team. Domantas Sabonis scored a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Indiana closed within two points early in the third before the Clippers put the game away. They outscored the Pacers 37-14 the rest of the quarter to lead 100-75 going into the fourth. Los Angeles made eight 3-pointers by six different players and Leonard scored 11 points. 

LA Clippers beat Indiana Pacers 129-96 

“They started making shots,” Sabonis said. “I feel like we left guys too open. We were throwing out a lot of different defenses and they caught on to the box-and-1 and it was harder for us to catch up.” 

The Clippers ran off 10 straight points early in the fourth to lead 110-81. Kennard had a 3-point play and George scored seven in a row. 

“Excited to see how far he can take it,” Morris said of George. “Been playing very well, unselfish, under control. He’s definitely playing MVP basketball.” 

“I feel like our energy is way better this season,” Morris continued. “Guys are buying in and enjoying playing the game.” 

Next up for the improving Los Angeles Clippers, they would be hosting Luka Doncic led Dallas Mavericks. As far as the Indiana Pacers are concerned, they would be hosting the Sacramento Kings.
