Mikel Arteta keen on bringing Odegaard to the Emirates this transfer window


Arsenal have finally parted ways with Mesut Ozil after a series of events leading up to the speculation as to when the German would leave the club.
Ozil has finally joined Fernebache after being completely left on the sidelines by Mikel Arteta. Now the Gunners manager looks to bring in new reinforcements.

Spanish club Real Madrid have decided to let their young player Martin Odegaard leave this January transfer window. The Norwegian international was expected to make a big impact on his return but unfortunately that hasn’t happened.
Now Arsenal want the attacking midfielder at their club given that Mesut Ozil has finally departed. Coach Mikel Arteta especially has high thoughts of the youngster and would like to see him at the Emirates.
The Gunners have had many players leaving in the January transfer window in a bid to reorganize their squad both for the Premier League and the UEFA Europa League.
Dear Kolasinac has left the club to join German side Schalke 04. William Saliba too has left Arsenal. Hence the club are interested to find suitable replacements for these players.

We could not carry on with 31 players in the squad – it is unmanageable. As well when you have to leave some of the foreign players out, it makes it more difficult.
“For a few weeks, it’s OK, but to do it for months and maintain the health, ambition and chemistry around the place is really complicated.So one of the main objectives was to make some decisions on how we’re going to offset that and we’ve done it.
“Just for me, the important thing is that everybody feels involved and that they have a chance. They’re all fighting for a place but at the end, they need to feel they have the opportunity to play.
