Paul Pogba’s brother fires warning to Manchester United over contract hopes

Paul Pogba In Controversy Again
Mathias Pogba has warned Manchester United that Paul Pogba will leave the club for free if he is not sold in the summer transfer window.
Pogba is unlikely to remain at Manchester long term and his agent Mino Raiola said at the start of December that the player’s Old Trafford career was ‘over’. Raiola’s assertions came just months after he claimed Pogba was likely to sign a new contract at the club.
United triggered the one-year extension clause in Pogba’s contract to avoid losing the 27-year-old for free this summer but he is likely to leave for a fee.
Pogba has enjoyed a recent resurgence in the United side and was voted as the player of the month for his performances in January, a month in which United climbed to the top of the Premier League table.

Despite this upsurge in form, Paul Pogba’s brother Mathias thinks it’s highly unlikely that Pogba will extend his contract at United and suggests it will be better for United to cash on him come this summer. This is what he told to El Chiringuito.
“He is happy. He is improving his game. He has a year left on his contract. I don’t know [if he will stay until then]. I can’t help you right now. The only thing I can say is if United want money, they have to sell him now. That’s the only thing I can say. If not, he’ll go for free. I haven’t heard anything about him renewing his contract.”
It looks like that these contract controversies are never-ending stuff in Pogba Manchester United career. He regained a bit of form lately, he needs to build on this to get his big-money move again.
