“I had a speech class in elementary school. And the teacher always said if a person comes to a word, they can’t get it, we are going to let them sound it out and we are going to help them but let me do that, don’t you do it. So, I never forget this guy named Johnny. He got to a word and the teacher kept saying, ‘It sounds like.. Johnny, It sounds like…’ and I said it sounds like Johnny can’t read,” said Sharpe.

Furthermore, he also revealed his counter got himself expelled from the class and he didn’t attend the class for the next 2 weeks. “She said ‘Shannon Sharpe get out of the class and don’t come back until you learn how to… to talk to people.’ I went out to class, I was out for two weeks,” said Sharpe.
