Fans following college football know how much veteran analyst Skip Bayless is fond of Deion Sanders. A few days back, the analyst advocated for a hike in the contract of Deion Sanders. He said that Coach Prime needs to get a contract worth $100 million as he completely changed the dynamics of this Colorado Buffaloes team.
Now, the veteran advocated for his son Shedeur Sanders, who was recently projected as a $4.80 million deal-winner in the NIL. If projections become true, then the player can become the most-valued player in the NIL.
However, Bayless thinks that he will still be underpaid even if the deal takes place. In one of the recent episodes of the show ‘Undisputed’, Bayless emphasized that Shedeur deserves a lot more than that, abiding by the performance he has had this season.
“This is real money and I’m here to tell you, the truth is about Shedeur Sanders, at 4.85 million, he’s still underpaid. They are the biggest in all of college football. They are the ones setting ratings, and records. They set because of the father and because of the son. It’s because the son is right there in the entertainment factor,” the analyst added.
Shedeur Sanders’ performance in the league
Shedeur has been pivotal for Buffaloes since this college football season started. He has been running riot. In six games, the QB completed 186 of his 256 passes, with a completion rate of 72%. He registered 16 touchdowns and two interceptions.

Last season, the Buffaloes suffered due to the inability of their quarterback. This season, Sanders has completely turned the table. The Buffaloes are up by a 4-2 margin and if they win another two, they will be eligible for the 2023 Bowls.
Along with devastating play, Sanders has become popular with his celebration. His ‘watch flexing’ has attracted thousands of the football crowd. His father Deion Sanders said that he deserves a luxurious watch deal as the celebration has gone viral.
