Giannis Antetokounmpo has always been known for his humility and his big heart. He is often seen displaying his generosity and his fans love him for it. It is in fact one of his annual traditions to distribute his signature shoe to the entire Milwaukee Bucks teammates and staff once it comes out.

Keeping in line with tradition, Antetokounmpo gifted his new signature shoes – the Nike Freak 5 – to all of his teammates and the Bucks staff. In July, “The Freak 5” was released, and Antetokounmpo went the extra mile by purchasing them for all his teammates. Each shoe box was personalized, bearing the name of a specific teammate, and the shoe sizes were customized to fit each individual perfectly.

One user on Twitter commented on the scene, nicknaming him, “Giannis Santetokounmpo.”

Antetokounmpo even traded some banter with teammate Damian Lillard. He told Lillard that he was expecting Lillard’s signature shoe went it came out as well. His teammates were hyped when they received the gift and it is clear they were very happy.

What to expect from Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks this season?

The Bucks are perhaps one of the best-placed teams in the NBA at the moment. They have one of the most solid lineups and the trade for Damian Lillard has only cemented their place as favorites to contend.

The Lillard-Antetokounmpo duo has already taken the league by storm. During the pre-season games, teams could be seen confused about who to defend while both were on the floor.

That is exactly what makes the Bucks offense work so well. Antetokounmpo attracts attention in the paint while Lillard is a threat from the perimeter. Defenses will get exhausted trying to guard them both through the 48 minutes.
