Much like any other profession, wrestling is an occupation that spans generations. WWE has been bestowed with several second and third-generation superstars over the years. Fans often see the young ones of the wrestling family following in the footsteps of their families. Having said that, Chad Gable recently took to his social media to reveal that his son has started his wrestling training.
In his recent Instagram post, Chad Gable shared the happy news that his son, Charles James Betts, has begun his pro-wrestling training. Betts is the youngest child of the superstar and is just 4 years old. However, the fledgling has started to learn wrestling at such an early stage of life. Moreover, the 37-year-old uploaded two images with his son and a heartfelt note.
The self-proclaimed coach of the Alpha Academy took time out of his hectic schedule to spend time with his child. Gable had a private training session with Charles at the wrestling school before his wrestling commitments. The superstar further disclosed that he had to cancel the latter’s birthday party due to some unknown circumstances.
We made some calls and got the wrestling room open all to ourselves for a workout before I left! He was so geeked. He worked so hard and completely gassed me out. I wish I had his energy. Chad Gable on Instagram
However, the 37-year-old made up for it by renting out a wrestling room to offer some valuable lessons to his son. Furthermore, he remarked that the little one “gassed him out” with his sheer hard work and enthusiasm. We can only hope that the young one has a bright future in the realm of wrestling when he grows up.
Chad Gable opens up about his son’s passion for wrestling
Chad Gable is arguably one of the finest technical wrestlers in WWE today. Fans often draw parallels between the former and legendary wrestler Kurt Angle. Nonetheless, the rising superstar himself is an inspirational figure to the younger generation, particularly his kids. A couple of months ago, Gable spoke about his son, Charles James Betts, undying love for wrestling.

A few months ago, Gable was engaged in a heated feud with The Ring General Gunther. After his massive win in a fatal four-way match, earning a title shot against the latter, he appeared on Raw Exclusive. While speaking on the exclusive segment via Fightful, the Raw superstar discussed his son’s love for wrestling.
He’s so into wrestling and it’s nothing I would ever force on my kids or anything, to make them do sports. But he loves this stuff. He wants to do amateur sports like his dad. He calls it the wrestling with no fireworks, what we do.Chad Gable on Raw Exclusive
The 37-year-old revealed that his son is extremely into wrestling, and it is not something he forces his kids to like. Furthermore, he added that the little one looks up to him. Charles also aims to be a wrestler in the future, just like his father, said Gable. The youngest child of Chad Gable has most recently initiated his wrestling training.
