Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans might be between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, but it also is the biggest game of the season. That means other owners generally would make it to the big game to take in the excitement. Jerry Jones is already in the vicinity, waiting to see who wins the next Lombardi Trophy.

He arrived a few days ago and reporters have tried to get some sound bites out of him. One of the first questions he answered was what he felt about Jayden Daniels. Knowing he will have to face the Rookie of the Year twice every season makes him sick to the stomach.

However, he might also be sick as his Dallas Cowboys have not made it to the Super Bowl in more than three decades. When The Athletic’s Dianna Russini caught up with the 82-year-old, she asked him if he would have done some things differently this past offseason.

After Jerry Jones paid Prescott, he made CeeDee Lamb the second highest paid wideout. Now Micah Parsonscontract extension is coming up and going by his history, the owner could make him one of the highest paid pass rushers in the league. But he needs more than that to reach a Super Bowl.
