Saquon Barkley ditched the New York Giants to join the Philadelphia Eagles and will play his first Super Bowl within twelve months. Three people—his wife Anna Congdon and two kids, daughter Jada Clare and Saquon Jr.—stayed with him, sharing emotional moments and happy memories.
Barkley is a girl dad like Jason Kelce. Back when the 27-year-old running back was in the process of locating an apartment in Philly, Jada made a comment that struck him hard.
It wasn’t her first visit to the home of cheesesteaks and Rocky Balboa. As Barkley played college football for Penn State, they would often drive by the old winding neighborhoods. Yet, this was a different experience, as Barkley remembered.
Barkley and his partner smiled because the little girl wasn’t wrong. The final few seasons in New York were tough. Injuries, losses, and contract trouble haunted the Barkley family at every step. Philly provided a fresh start. The change of scenery worked, and now Barkley is set to play in his first Super Bowl on February 9.
Before that, the Pro Bowler received the cutest words of encouragement from Jada.
“Our whole family would always love you no matter what you do.”

Barkley and Anna raised Jada well
It’s hard to believe Jada Clare Barkley is just five years old. She genuinely loves her daddy and wants to see him holding the Lombardi Trophy in his hands.
At the same time, the Barkley’s eldest is mature enough to know that there’s always the possibility of her pop losing too.
That’s really sweet of her. Barkley already had the drive to win the Super Bowl, but now it’s a mission that he must win.
If he can emulate the same 2000+ scrimmage yards and 15+ touchdowns leading to his Offensive Player of the Year win, he might just pip the Chiefs and take revenge for the Eagles’ defeat in 2022.
