This week, the PGA Tour will host one of it’s most prestigious events, the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Renamed in the honor of late great Arnold Palmer, a limited field will try to get their hands on this signature title.
Like always, the tournament will be played at the Bay Hill & Lodge in Orlando, Florida. This prestigious event has attracted some of the biggest names in golf. This year would be no different as the best players on the tour will compete in this iconic tournament.
This event is one of the eight signature events on the PGA Tour schedule. It is also just the third signature event to feature a cut after the Genesis Invitational and the Memorial Tournament. This means that after the second round, only the top 50 players and ties and anyone within 10 shots of the lead will be allowed to continue playing.

The fourth Signature Event of the 2025 FedEx Cup season will go alongside the Puerto Rico Open, the first Additional Event of the season. These alternate events are hosted for those golfers who do not qualify for this signature events. It gives them a chance to earn FedEx Cup points and move upwards in the rankings to give them a chance to qualify for future signature events.

Arnold Palmer Invitational Prize Money payout
The PGA Tour signature events are known for their high money payout. With the Arnold Palmer Invitational also being a signature event, there is a huge cheque waiting for the winner from a large money pool.

Unlike non-elevated PGA Tour events, the money involved in this tournament is huge. The Arnold Palmer Invitational has a prize pool of a whopping $20,000,000.
