Kevin Durant’s heated exchange with HC goes viral prior to leading stunning 23-point comeback win
Kevin Durant and Phoenix Suns are going through a tough stretch after multiple losses place them outside of playoff spots.

Kevin Durant had words for Phoenix Suns HC Mike Budenholzer during game
Since the start of February, the Phoenix Suns have been losing games left right and center. Their 2-11 record was not what the likes of Kevin Durant had in mind when he and his teammates started this season with an eye on the NBA title.
That February run is not the only problem the team has had this season. This horrible stretch is after they had a good run in January, which again was preceded by another poor run which started mid-November. Those struggles have asked serious questions about the team.
They tried to solve some of it prior to the trade deadline. But nothing materialized, and many felt the team will struggle from all the outside noise surrounding those failed trades. Players dismissed those notions, but their on-court performances did not validate their logic.
In today’s home game against the Los Angeles Clippers, an exchange between Durant and head coach Mike Budenholzer added to the notion that something is not right within the team. Early in the game, when Durant was walking towards the bench, Budenholzer was asking him something.

As he grabbed his superstar’s arm, Durant yanked it away and he continued mouthing something towards his HC. Clips of that heated exchange went viral. But thankfully, a while later, they embraced and talked it out and continued with the game.
Draymond Green in awe of Kevin Durant’s 4th Qtr rally
The Los Angeles Clippers embraced a different approach heading into this game. They exploited the Phoenix Suns’ lack of interior presence to run up a massive 23-point lead with two minutes to go in the third quarter. That lead was down to nineteen when the fourth quarter started.
From that moment onwards, Kevin Durant took over. He led the comeback by scoring on possession after possession. During that run, he was driven to prove again why he is one of the greats. After watching him contribute nineteen points in that fourth quarter rally, Draymond Green wrote this.
Back against the wall, slim pushed all his chips to the middle of the table and Willed them to a W! One of the more impressive performances I’ve seen from Trey5!

That coming from a former teammate who has seen some of Kevin Durant’s best games up front and center says a lot. His words were accurate as the Slim Reaper showed how good he is. But more importantly, he also showed the world that he can lead a team to win.
