Paddy Pimblett is one of the UFC’s fastest-rising stars, known for his charisma, wild fighting style, and confidence. He’s built a massive fanbase with viral moments, entertaining interviews, and dominant performances inside the octagon since his debut. To start his UFC journey, ‘Baddy’ took a huge risk, turning down early offers until the timing felt right.
Pimblett debuted in the UFC in 2021 and has since beaten notable names like Tony Ferguson and Bobby Green. He’s earned four Performance of the Night bonuses and is quickly becoming one of the UFC’s most marketable young stars. Despite his popularity, Paddy initially accepted a base UFC salary, which was lower than his previous regional fight earnings.
When I first signed with the UFC, I took a pay cut. The UFC standard deal is ($10,000 to show, $10,000 to win). I signed for a pay cut at first. My first two fights were 10/10 and then 12/12, and obviously after I won my second fight we got a new deal, and it went up.

Paddy Pimblett can ruin his opponent’s career at UFC 314
Paddy Pimblett and Michael Chandler are set to clash in a highly anticipated co-main event at UFC 314. This fight marks a crucial test for Pimblett, who looks to prove he belongs among the lightweight division’s elite contenders. Pimblett has boldly predicted a finish within two rounds, adding more heat to their growing rivalry and fueling fan excitement.

Chandler, on the other hand, aims to bounce back from losses and reclaim his position as a top UFC lightweight. Ahead of the fight, former UFC champion Daniel Cormier talked about the significance of the bout. According to DC, for Chandler, it’s a make-or-break opportunity, as he desperately needs a win.
He is that guy—win or lose, nothing really affects him…He loses again, you’re not losing to Justin Gaethje, Poirier, Oliveira, you’re losing to the next generation. You can not lose to the next generation of guys.

Chandler spent nearly two years chasing a fight with Conor McGregor, which never materialized and stalled his UFC momentum. Frustrated by delays, the former Bellator champion is now refocused and determined to remind fans of his potential. Facing and beating a young and dangerous star like Pimblett can reignite his career and silence critics.
Chandler’s motivation is at an all-time high, and he’s prepared to leave everything inside the octagon at UFC 314. However, many fans and experts are still concerned about his all-out fighting style. Against a sleek submission artist like Pimblett, any mistake can be punished in the blink of an eye.
