Charles Barkley has become a staple of television ever since he retired from playing basketball. Over these past 25 years, he has become a household name as a broadcaster, bringing his trademark humor to basketball analysis as part of Inside the NBA.

His banter with his colleagues is something else. Their chemistry is evident when Barkley goes at either Kenny Smith or Shaquille O’Neal. They too comeback to retaliate and their banter has become something that fans look forward to.

When he is not trolling his colleagues or other basketball players, the round mound of rebound often resorts to trolling the women of San Antonio. It has become a staple of his jokes particularly whenever the Spurs are playing.

This past week, Charles Barkley was a part of the CBS Sports March Madness crew, covering the NCAA Final Four and the national championship game. Since both were in San Antonio, Barkley was bound to get some heat for his past comments.

But he doubled down on them and used the B-word against the women of San Antonio. But TNT had a plan and with the help of Kenny Smith, set up an event in their studios where women lined up with balloons. The moment they saw Barkley, they all popped their balloons.

Now one by one Barkley and Smith went around asking why the women popped their balloons. Most trolled him back, citing his lack of championship rings, his looks, his struggles with weight issues. But those were not hitting him where it hurts.

Then one of the ladies mentioned that she would not date him because of his ugly golf swing. Now the Hall of Famer was ruffled. Lastly, one woman told him that she would not date anyone who dissed her city.

This event organized by TNT seemed like the perfect payback for Charles Barkley. He has trolled the women of San Antonio all throughout his career. Be it talking about their struggles with weight, or their inability to fit in Victorias Secret products.

He even talked about their affinity to eat a lot of churros. He once tried the desert and reaffirmed his belief that he understood why San Antonio women struggled with weight issues. In fact, he suggested that Victor Wembanyama was in a perfect situation in the city, as in, he could gain weight easily.

Along with trolling the women, he has also joked about the city, calling the riverside a dirty creek. All of this has come to the attention of the people of San Antonio. Even their mayor lambasted him for joking about the weight issues.

Adam Lefkoe trolls Barkley over parlay wins

The Inside the NBA crew do take shots at Charles Barkley whenever the opportunity arises. His gambling issues have become a recurring topic of jokes. Now Tuesday’s show host Adam Lefkoe joined in after winning his fourth straight parlay.

I have won three of my last four, and three of the last three Tuesday shows. That means, I have hit four parlays this season, and Charles Barkley has hit zero.
