Video revealing LeBron James faking a foul in Game 2 of playoffs has basketball fans losing it: “Think he slick”
Superstar LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers teammates were frustrated in Game 1 of their 1st round playoff series after a series of no calls.

LeBron James tried to sell a foul in Los Angeles Lakers' Game 2 win
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers entered game 2 of their 1st round playoff battle against the Minnesota Timberwolves knowing it would be a physical battle. The undersized home team had to rely on whatever physicality they could come up with and add finesse and intelligence along the way.
Those tactics worked as Wolves starters Naz Reid, Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo, and Jaden McDaniels all struggled with foul trouble. That worked greatly to the Lakers’ advantage as all those players suddenly could not impact the game the way they did in Game 1.
The only other caveat was Rudy Gobert, but Luka Doncic, who has long enjoyed his battles against the Frenchman, exploited the mismatch to score at will. But his teammates could not do the same. The Timberwolves are long, fast, and physical.
That is where they employed those tactics to draw fouls. In one of the plays, Julius Randle tried to scoop a layup with his left hand. But when his hand came down, it hit LeBron James. The 40-year-old went crashing to the floor as the nearest official called a foul on the Timberwolves forward.

Now, a video clip of that same incident surfaced, but from a different camera angle. The clip shows James peeping with his right eye to see if the officials had indeed awarded a foul. Once he understood the situation was in their favor, he asked his teammates to pull him up and off the floor.
Fans are rolling on the floor watching LeBron James deceive officials
LeBron James has 22 seasons’ worth of experience in the NBA. He is often known to be one of the most intelligent players to ever dribble a basketball. Therefore, he knows a thing or two about how to sell a call to the officials.
Last season, his now head coach, JJ Redick, trolled James and the Lakers on the number of foul calls they got in a game. In game 1, they did not get many, which is probably why James took this deception. Fans watching this clip took to social media to call out the all-time leading scorer, examples of which are below.

Maybe James was frustrated and wanted to take advantage of every opportunity that came his way. He even blasted the officials when they called a foul, which led to a hilarious response from Anthony Edwards. It seems fouls are going to determine how this series goes.
Lakers have to play better in games 3 & 4
The Los Angeles Lakers might have won game 2, but many analysts believe that was because the Minnesota Timberwolves took their foot off the gas. Games 3 and 4 are back in their hometown of Minneapolis.
Their home crowd will be cheering them on, which means there is a possibility that the Wolves return to their game 1 form. The only way for the men in purple and gold to counter that is to elevate their own game.
They did not play to the standards they set when they ran up the table to second place in the West. This was more of a pedestrian version of that. If the Wolves increase the pace, the Lakers will be forced to counter that with risky shots.
That might not be the best approach, as their inefficient shooting form could bite them. JJ Redick needs to ensure that his players are working hard in the gym to get their rhythm in place. The undersized team will need to up their efficiency if they are to defeat the bigger, faster, and stronger Wolves.
