Devin Booker makes Arizona kid’s day at lemonade stand
Devin Booker pulled up to a young Phoenix Suns fan's lemonade stand on the highway, leaving the boy with a nice core memory.

Devin Booker
NBA players are often idols for so many kids in the cities where they ply their trade. Basketball is always a popular sport with kids of all demographics and communities, and ballers are celebrated with a lot of fanfare in America. Meeting an NBA player is nearly always a child’s dream, irrespective of their level of love for basketball. Devin Booker has been a shining example of NBA stars being kind to fans.
The Phoenix Suns star and two-time Olympics gold medalist is one of the friendliest NBA players to fans. He’s given fans a lot of memorabilia through the course of his basketball career. Devin Booker famously gave his Nike Book 1 shoes to a fan wearing his jersey at the Paris Olympics this past summer.
He also gave his game-worn shoes to an Australian fan who had traveled to Phoenix in January. Even more memorably, Booker gave courtside tickets and merch to a Suns fan whom Nuggets fans tried to rough up at Ball Arena during the 2021 NBA playoffs.

Booker adds to this list of magnanimous acts with another wholesome fan interaction. Driving around Phoenix, the 28-year-old went past a boy’s lemonade stand, set up in front of his house. Booker noticed it and proceeded to become a patron of the stand, purchasing a drink from the enterprising boy. When he passed an outrageously high amount as a tip, the boy put two and two together.
“Are you Devin Booker?” asked the boy. “Yes, I am,” came the reply from Booker. “I’m like your biggest fan! Nice to meet you,” exclaimed the excited young boy. He came to Booker in the driver’s seat to shake his hand and skipped back to his stand excitedly, beaming from ear to ear.
Devin Booker is an Arizona treasure.

Moments like this are exactly what make a fanbase proud to have a franchise player like Booker. This is clearly a man who appreciates the fan support and does his best to be of service to his community which supports the professional team whom he represents. Even though Phoenix hasn’t gotten a championship through Booker in 10 years, they have some truly awesome memories during his time to treasure.
Devin Booker has been linked to trades away from the Phoenix Suns
Booker had one of the worst professional seasons of his career over the past six months or so. His scoring and playmaking output was at the lowest level it has been in the 2020s. His efficiency was also down, caused primarily by his decreased efficiency while driving to the cup. Booker does have a well-rounded scoring toolset, but he wasn’t as effective as he had been in the past few years.
With the Suns missing both the lottery as well as the playoffs (due to past trades), they are currently in NBA purgatory. They need to accrue assets fast and the best asset they have as a trade chip is Booker. Despite having a down year, Booker will be an alluring prospect for teams that will fall short in the playoffs. He is someone who can be a primary ballhandler on a #1 seed and an NBA Finals team.
Kevin Durant and Booker will possibly both be traded by the Suns in order to add a few first-round picks to their war chest, in addition to young prospects.
