Giannis Antetokounmpo reacts to rare MVP feat after Shai Gilgeous-Alexander wins
Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo had a clear message reagarding a unique feat related to the NBA MVP award rankings via his social media.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
This year, the Milwaukee Bucks wanted to contend for the NBA championship. Making trades for Kevin Porter Jr. and Kyle Kuzma demonstrated the extent of the effort they were attempting to make. Instead, they suffered their second consecutive loss to the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the playoffs. However, this does not take away from the season their star, Giannis Antetokounmpo, had this year in the NBA.
This season, Antetokounmpo was among the league’s top players. He was one of the three MVP Award finalists. He would have received his third MVP award if he had won this one. Notably, the Thunder star, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, clinched the MVP award for the 1st time in his career. That said, Antetokounmpo took to his X to boast about a unique MVP feat.
The initial X post was about ‘Every Top 3 MVP Finishers since 2000, Ranked by Total Appearances.’ This surely caught the Greek star’s attention, mostly because Antetokounmpo is third in the list with 5 top-three MVP finishes. He also quoted the post on X with an important message.

Additionally, three votes were cast for fifth place, nine for fourth, and 88 for third place for Antetokounmpo. Since 2021, the Bucks haven’t contended for the NBA title, raising doubts about Antetokounmpo’s future with the franchise. The MVP announcement follows rumors that Antetokounmpo would sign a contract with another team this offseason.
Even though he hasn’t formally asked the Bucks for a trade and doesn’t have a no-trade clause, he might be traded before his contract expires. There is no doubt that in the league’s history, Antetokounmpo will be considered one of the most sought-after trade targets.

It’s safe to say that Charania’s account was not hacked, with SGA winning his 1st MVP award. As for the Bucks star, with an average of 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists, he had one of his best seasons ever, making the MVP race one of the most thrilling in recent memory.
