42-Year-Old WWE Star Savagely Trolls Drew McIntyre After Spurs down Man United in the Europa League final

A current Judgment Day member has retorted with Spurs' trophy win post in response to Drew McIntyre's previous trash-talking about the club.

It seems like Drew McIntyre jumped the gun on his assessment of the Tottenham Hotspur F.C., who ousted Manchester United on Thursday in the Europa League final. Back in March, the WWE Superstar aimed a dig at Ange Postecoglou‘s men, lamenting their 17-year-long trophy drought. The Scot reacted to WWE’s announcement of it releasing exclusive Legacy Title Belts for the 13 major European football clubs.

McIntyre, trolling Spurs, quoted a reply saying, “That’s the only title Tottenham have seen in years.” And guess what? A couple of months later, The Lilywhites, captained by Son Heung-min, scraped their way to the Europa League glory, thanks to Brennan Johnson‘s 42nd-minute goal.

Taking note of McIntyre’s previous rib at the Spurs, one of his WWE coworkers, Finn Balor, who is a lifelong Spurs fan, has clapped back at the Scot. Balor posted pictures of the winning side celebrating and tagged The Scottish Warrior. McIntyre, however, had already broken his silence on Spurs’ victory. Taking to X, The Chosen One posted a viral scene from the British reality series Come Dine with Me.

The former WWE Champion targeted Tottenham head coach Postecoglou, saying he ruined his post from March just so he could have a trophy. McIntyre asserted what a sad little life the Greece-born football manager has. It’s one of those rare instances where The Scottish Psychopath oozed vulnerability in his social media game, which had been on a tear over the last couple of years or so.

Drew McIntyre was rocked by Damian Priest on SmackDown

Drew McIntyre will enter this weekend’s Saturday Night’s Main Event with a mission. He’s hellbent on closing his chapter with Damian Priest once and for all. This Friday on SmackDown, just when the Ayr-born wrestler was seen walking backstage, Priest jumped him out of nowhere. The Street King got the upper hand and headed out to the ring to deliver his final message for the Scot.

However, McIntyre caught him on the entrance stage itself, and the two started mauling each other again. The former Judgment Day member got himself a mic and claimed that he’s sending McIntyre to the hospital after their steel cage match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. But he was in no mood to stop as he cleared security and made a beeline for The Scottish Warrior.

Things have certainly reached a boiling point between these two. Priest is still the reason why McIntyre lost the world heavyweight title in 5 minutes and 46 seconds after winning it at WrestleMania XL. Most recently, they were involved in a Fatal 4-Way match for Jacob Fatu‘s US title at Backlash. Priest and McIntyre had that jaw-dropping spot from a 15-ft-high podium, which resulted in the Scot almost catching a freak injury.

Is Drew McIntyre operating at a 100% physical capacity?

Now that it’s almost certain that Drew McIntyre will wrap up his feud with Damian Priest this weekend, what’s next? The 39-year-old has already made it clear that he’s going to chase the world title inevitably. One might wonder if that means the Scot will soon circle back to the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, John Cena.

They didn’t get to trade blows earlier this year inside the Elimination Chamber, which miffed a number of fans. Also, in a recent admission in the Orlando Sentinel, McIntyre confirmed that he’s currently working through injuries. The Scot revealed that he can’t turn his head to the left side completely, but that’s what an athlete gets oneself into, added the SmackDown star.

I can’t turn my head all the way left yet… Working hurt is just what happens if you’re an athlete, especially as the years go by…….

Although he said it’s not the most sensible thing to do, McIntyre has wrestled through muscle tears in the past. The Scottish Warrior clarified that things are different now, and everybody in the business wants to last as long as they possibly can.
