Sports personalities like basketball star Stephen Curry have had a huge impact on the sporting world. Curry has been one of the most popular basketball players ever since he debuted with the Golden State Warriors in the NBA.

Whenever he talks, people listen to what the 4-time NBA champion has to say. However, like many current players, one of them being his teammate, Draymond Green, and former NBA players who have podcasts, Curry does not want to have one of his own.

Curry made a recent appearance in famous YouTuber Jon Youshaei‘s video and spoke about various topics in and around the NBA, his career, etc. In a particular clip making rounds on the internet, Curry was spotted telling Youshaei about this decision regarding podcasts. He also opened up on the ‘other important’ work he has.

You won’t see me do it though… I got a lot of other things I wanna do other than be behind the mic everyday. Cause if you gonna do something you gotta be all in, and it is the time commitment, it’s a big lift. It’s not something I’m passionate about.

Stephen Curry told Jon Youshaei

Curry and his wife Ayesha founded the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation to support children’s well-being through access to nutritious meals, quality reading resources, and opportunities to play and be active. The foundation also believes that ‘everyone deserves the chance to live a happy, healthy childhood.’ He is also an avid golfer, participating in pro-am tournaments and launching a golf team at Howard.

It is not surprising that he is not interested in entering the podcast industry at this time, given the time commitment required to be one of the top basketball players in NBA history, who continues to play at a high level at the age of 37.

It is noteworthy that he stated in his remarks that he isn’t too passionate about it, but maybe he may change his mind when he retires.

Stephen Curry and Jaylen Brown were recently spotted in a MrBeast video shoot

Each player who has been eliminated appears to be enjoying their summers in a different way as the NBA offseason for 26 teams gets underway. The greatest names in the league are taking vacations, going missing, or making an appearance in a MrBeast YouTube video that has gone viral. One of them is Stephen Curry.

Interestingly, Curry was not the only person spotted at the MrBeast video shoot. His top rival in the East, the Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, was also present at the shoot. Both stars greeted each other and exchanged a few words, sending the NBA community into a frenzy. Many started spreading rumors of them both being united in the upcoming NBA season.

For context, there has been much noise going around Curry’s future as the offseason approaches. Some rumors have linked him to the Celtics in the past and even now as well. However, it does not look like the Warriors star would opt to move out, especially with the signing of Jimmy Butler in February.

NBA insider reveals shocking possible trade between the Warriors and the Mavericks

Mike Dunleavy Jr., general manager of the Warriors, has a lot of work ahead of him this summer.
The Warriors will have to make a few wise decisions if they want to go from being a good playoff team to a title contender. Jedd Pagaduan of ClutchPoints offers a solution for the floor-spacing problem.

In this hypothetical scenario, Klay Thompson returns to the Bay Area after the Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks reach an agreement. In this hypothetical, they only get Thompson back after trading Moses Moody and Gui Santos. Pagaduan stressed that Moody has not made that much of an impact for the Warriors, and getting Thompson would be ideal in this scenario.

With Curry and Butler at the top, Thompson would be a third or fourth choice if he returned to the Warriors. The Warriors would be embracing their advanced age and limited window for championships, while also letting go of any young players they may have.
