Brian Windhorst has always been known to glaze LeBron James, but off late the Los Angeles Lakers superstar has been trolling the ESPN analyst.

LeBron James is not one who usually goes after members of the media, other than when he is forced to defend his turf. He went after Charles Barkley back in 2017, which happens to be the primary example of a time when the King could not hold back from lashing out.

Recently, a lot has changed. The superstar is in his 22nd season and on the verge of retiring. That could be the reason he has started to pick, choose, and go after media members in whatever way he feels is right.

Be it confronting Stephen A. Smith in public or trolling the ESPN executive producer on another ESPN show, knowing that the show has a not-so-great history with the 57-year-old analyst. James seems to use his stellar IQ to determine where and how to reply.

He did the same when using his Instagram page to troll Smith after the analyst talked about retaliating with punches. The four-time champion has also taken shots at the league, especially after the ‘controversial’ draft lottery. Now he brings up another troll post, this time directed at ESPN’s Brian Windhorst and other media members.

Long ways from being done!! Sucks they have to listen to 2 guys who know nothing about basketball talk about basketball! Sorry Steve Nash.

He has since deleted the post, but the original Mind the Game post shows Brian Windhorst speaking on how a show on X’s and O’s would not work. The post also shows that the show has overcome all the criticisms to notch 16 million views and counting.

Fans lose their minds as LeBron James continues to diss Brian Windhorst

Basketball fans were happy that LeBron James and Steve Nash‘s podcast, Mind the Game, has managed to rack up those numbers. It is a success, especially when considering most of what they cover is about the technicalities of basketball.

In between, James has taken shots at members of the media, but for the most part, the show has been about X’s and O’s. What fans did not appreciate, though, was the King’s constant shots at Windhorst. The ESPN analyst has generally been supportive of the four-time league MVP, but James’ shots gave fans the idea that he was being ungrateful. Check out some of those irritated reactions below.

Brian Windhorst has clarified that LeBron James does not owe him anything. However, this latest diss could blow up into another heated debate on ESPN shows. Stephen A. Smith could use it as another opportunity to take a swing at the Los Angeles Lakers star, something he usually does not want to miss. Maybe that is why James deleted his post.

LeBron James and Steve Nash’s podcast can get another boost with Luka Doncic

James initially started the podcast with his current head coach, JJ Redick. Many claim that the show somehow helped Redick land the job with the Los Angeles Lakers. Steve Nash, as his replacement, has also landed a gig as an analyst with Amazon.

His work will start next season, but he will be dividing time between both the podcast and the analyst’s booth. Now, to help Mind the Game reach more fans, the two veterans roped in James’ newest teammate, Luka Doncic.

He was their first official on-site guest, who is also an active player. Knowing how Doncic is regarded amongst the younger crowd, they may make him a regular feature on their show. If they officially make him a part of the podcast, it could grow even faster.
