7-time Olympic Gold medalist Simone Biles has found herself in hot water. The gymnast on Friday lashed out at former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines regarding the trans athletes’ sports controversy.

Gaines has become a huge figure in this matter. The Kentucky swimmer has been highly vocal about the inclusion of trans athletes in women’s sports and has several times brought up such topics on her social media accounts.

On Friday, Gaines took to her X account to express frustration regarding a softball team. While reposting a tweet from the Minnesota State High School League, which featured Champlin Park, the Class AAAA Softball State Champion for 2025, she pointed out that their pitcher was a trans athlete.

Biles would attack Gaines for this tweet and labeled her as a “bully” and a “sore loser” on X. The 28-year-old thrashed the former PENN swimmer and even claimed that nobody was safe around her.

@Riley_Gaines You’re truly sick, all of this campaigning because you lost a race. Straight up sore loser. You should be uplifting the trans community and perhaps finding a way to make sports inclusive OR creating a new avenue where trans feel safe in sports. Maybe a transgender category IN ALL sports!! But instead… You bully them… One things for sure is no one in sports is safe with you around!!!!!

In another tweet on X, Biles further urged Gaines to “bully” someone of her size. Both of these tweets of hers have crossed over 12 million views.

Simone Biles was not impressed with Riley Gaines on Friday night. The Olympic gymnast would take a major swipe at Gaines for her comments. As a result of her tweets, Biles is facing extreme backlash from social media users.

Users on X did not like the tweets from Biles and slammed her. Many of them took a swipe at her. One user wrote, “An absolute moron” while lashing out the at gymnast.

Biles is the second most decorated female Olympic gymnast in history. After taking an absence, she returned to competing once again and won 3 gold medals at the Olympic Games last year.

After some bold words from Simone Biles, Riley Gaines hit back. In several tweets, she took a swipe at the Olympic athlete. One of them saw her take a jab over Biles’ past and highlighted the double standards of her.

Gaines brought up the Larry Nassar scandal. Nassar, a doctor of the Gymnastics team, was involved in a major s*xual abuse scandal. Biles was one of those who were abused by Nassar.

She would later speak in testimony against him and break down in tears while reflecting on the dark past. Gaines would bring this up and claimed that she spoke up on getting s*xually abused but is okay with trans athletes sharing locker room with women athletes.

All the horrific s*xual abuse @Simone_Biles witnessed and spoke out against caused by one man, yet believes women should be forced to strip naked in front of men to validate the man’s feelings. You know how many gold medals you’d have if your ‘inclusive’ dream came true? Zero.

Gaines later made another tweet and hoped that Nassar spends his entire life locked up. She then again expressed that men do not belong in women’s sports.

An order regarding a ban on transgender athletes from women’s sports was signed this year by Donald Trump. Gaines was one of the many women who were standing beside the US President when this executive was signed at the White House.
