Regaining the ownership of her first five albums seems to have lifted a burden off Taylor Swift’s head. She’s back to her old chipper self and is stepping out more frequently with boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The star tight end’s absence from the Kansas City Chiefs’ OTAs generated ample questions. Media houses speculated on the reasons and finally found their answers late in the evening.

Cameras caught Kelce escorting his superstar girlfriend by the hand to the VIP suite at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, to watch game four of the Stanley Cup finals between the 5th-ranked Florida Panthers and 6th-ranked Edmonton Oilers.

Kelce wore all red with white caps and Jordans, while Swift chose beige for her outfit with block white heeled boots, tightly braiding her hair behind her head to avoid worrying about her locks covering her eyes, allowing her to maintain her undivided focus on her beau and the game.

Travis and Taylor are spending more time together. Swift gave Kelce space after the Chiefs failed to secure a three-peat in February. They rarely appeared in public for the next couple of months.

However, the shackles appear to be off, and it happened right after Taylor took back ownership of her first five album covers.

They began going on dates and even dropped by at the wedding of Kelce’s cousin. Several photographs from the ceremony revealed the happy and contented smiles of the attending guests. A video revealed the celebrity pair enjoying the newlywed couple’s first dance.

Swift’s presence during the NFL games has received mixed reactions. While some adored her for supporting Kelce, others shrugged their shoulders at the league’s extensive coverage of the Grammy winner instead of focusing on the games.

Regardless, over a period of time, even the naysayers went silent, accepting that Swift is now synonymous with Chiefs football and she isn’t going anywhere. An insider told People Magazine that the 35-year-old is eagerly waiting for the new NFL season to start.

Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule.

The source further added that Swift missed out on spending time with Kelce because of her work, and now that she doesn’t have a tour, she is looking forward to attending more games.

The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible. It wasn’t easy, but they made it work.

Kelce was on the verge of retirement after losing the Super Bowl. However, the defeat left a sour taste in his mouth.

Swift wanted the All-Pro TE to retire so that they could plan their future. However, she did not interfere when Kelce announced his return.

The Chiefs will travel to Brazil on September 7 to kick off their 2025 NFL season against divisional rivals, the Los Angeles Chargers.
