After the Miami-Dade police issued an arrest warrant against Antonio Brown for attempted murder, everyone speculated where the former NFL wide receiver was. The authorities rang his home in Florida, but there was a dead silence.

Brown eventually revealed his location—well, kind of. There was very little traffic on Brown’s X/Twitter account since the police started their search until a video popped up on Friday.

His followers played the footage to find Brown riding a bicycle in an unfamiliar parking lot. The 36-year-old smiled for the camera before the video cut off.

The headline, or rather the hashtag line, hinted at Brown’s location. It read ‘somewhere in the Middle East.’ The Middle East is a massive place, so the police will face challenges pinpointing the Super Bowl winner’s current whereabouts.

But before that, they need to determine the age of the video. It’s debatable whether it was filmed recently or a while back.

Why does the Miami-Dade police want to arrest Antonio Brown?

According to the arrest warrant obtained by the Washington Post, Brown fired two rounds at a man on May 21 before a celebrity boxing match in Florida. The police nabbed Brown, but he did not spend the night in jail due to the lack of evidence.

Brown, the following day, tweeted that he was jumped by unknown people who tried to steal his chain.

Regarding the boxing event that happened last night. I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some video circulating, police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED. I will be talking to my legal counsel and attorneys about pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me.

Despite painting himself as the victim, mobile phone footage showed Brown throwing punches at someone who was dressed similarly to a security guard. Following a brief chase, Brown was seen holding a firearm before two gunshots were heard amidst all the screams in the background.

The footage reached the police, and after days of determining its authenticity, they issued an arrest warrant against Antonio Brown for attempted murder. He has to post a $10,000 bond and stay under house arrest until a trial.

His former teammates, especially Tom Brady, haven’t commented on the news.

Meanwhile, Brown’s X account continues to post cryptic messages. One message in particular caught everyone’s attention. He shared a photo with the headline, “This cracker did it wasn’t me.”

After some digging, his followers discovered it was a bust shot of Jaycob Ammerman, director of basketball operations of the UCF Knights (University of Central Florida). It’s unclear why Brown posted Ammerman’s photo, but his followers will eventually figure out the reason.

Antonio Brown played 12 seasons in the NFL, appearing in 146 games. In those games, he caught 928 passes for 12,291 yards and 88 touchdowns. In 2015, Brown set a personal record of 136 receptions for 1834 yards and 13 touchdowns. He attended seven Pro Bowls and led the league in receiving yards twice (2014 and 2015).

Despite never officially announcing his retirement from the NFL, Brown hasn’t set foot in an official game since 2021.
