People from all over the world wait for the much-anticipated Fanatics Fest to get some major updates on their favorite athletes, celebs, sports brands, etc. What is Fantaics Fest in the first place? Fanatics Fest is a significant multi-day gathering that unites athletes, fans, executives, and companies from the business, entertainment, and cultural sectors.

Among the many well-known attendees, such as LeBron James and Tom Brady at the Fest on Saturday at the Javits Center in New York, was James Harden. A fan unexpectedly yelled at Harden to win a championship when he was speaking on stage. Harden, humble as ever, gave a subtle 4-word response to the fan.

I will, I’m trying.

In his second year with the Los Angeles Clippers, Harden earned All-Star and Third Team All-NBA honors, showing everyone that he still has a lot left in him. With an average of 22.8 points and 8.7 assists per game in 79 games played, Harden acted as one of the main catalysts alongside his teammate Kawhi Leonard in the Clippers’ winning 50 games for the second straight season.

The only thing lacking from Harden’s CV is a title. In his 16 NBA seasons, the 35-year-old has earned two assists, three scoring, and an MVP award. In addition, Harden was elected to the NBA’s 75th Anniversary squad and was named to eight All-NBA and eleven All-Star teams.

Despite his achievements, Harden has earned a reputation as a postseason dropper. His record in the NBA Playoffs has never been good, losing out on many opportunities to win a chip. This season, as well, the Clippers lost against the Nuggets in Game 7 of the first round of the playoffs, showcasing Harden’s poor playoff record. Going into the next season, winning a chip will surely be on Harden’s mind.

James Harden makes WWE-style entry at the Fanatics Fest

35-year-old James Harden endured a bitter ending to his 2024-25 NBA season, getting knocked out by the Nuggets in the playoffs. But that did not stop us from carrying a charming personality at the 2025 Fanatics Fest in New York. He made a dashing WWE-style entry, representing former WWE star Hulk Hogan in his attire at the event.

Wearing the iconic yellow feather boa and red bandana, Harden came out to the iconic “Real American” entrance song, displaying his excitement. Later in the evening, he declared a championship, possibly bolstered by his image. As he begins an intriguing and maybe profitable offseason, the future Hall of Famer is full of hope.

Despite his postseason disappointment, Harden is deserving of a clean extension this offseason. In 2024–25, he made the All-NBA Third Team with averages of 22.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 8.7 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. Unfortunately, Harden couldn’t finish the fantastic bounce-back campaign on a high note.
