Cooper Flagg is coming off an incredible rookie season. His individual performances did not translate into team success as the Dallas Mavericks missed the playoffs this year after finishing at 12th place in the Western Conference standings with a 26-56 record. But it was a season of learning for the young star.

While he is not in the postseason this year, he has been making the headlines for his dating life over the last few weeks. But now it looks like Flagg is officially off the dating pool.

The Mavs star was recently seen with Duke Blue Devils women’s basketball player Arianna Roberson. It appears that the two may have met during their time at Duke, as Flagg also went there. She was seen sitting with his parents when he received the Rookie of the Year award.

While her appearances did spark dating rumors, the two have officially confirmed their relationship after sharing photos of their vacation in Turks & Caicos during the rookie’s offseason.

The speculations of Arianna Roberson and Cooper Flagg grew even further when she shared a video of the two on TikTok. They were seen switching through various outfits during their vacation. Meanwhile, Flagg has not posted anything yet, but usually, he keeps the content he posts there very business-forward.

The young Mavs star just had one of the best rookie seasons in recent years. He led his team in points, rebounds, assists, and steals in his rookie year, which puts him in an elite list alongside Michael Jordan as the only other player to do so. He broke several records on the way and is already establishing himself as a future star of the league.

Fans left buzzing after Cooper Flagg seen together with his girlfriend

The recent pictures shared by Roberson may be a surprise to some. The Duke women’s basketball star was not seen in any of Cooper Flagg’s games last season. It’s possible that she couldn’t attend any of the games as she had her own games to play.

However, the latest pictures shared of them together have left fans excited across social media.

Flagg seems to be enjoying his offseason. He will have some work to do in the coming months as he prepares himself for the 2026-27 campaign.

It was always going to be a difficult season for the Mavs this year. With Kyrie Irving sidelined for the entire season due to an ACL tear and Anthony Davis struggling with injuries as well before getting traded to the Washington Wizards, all eyes were on Cooper Flagg.

The number one pick of the 2025 NBA draft showed a lot of promise in his debut season, and it looks like the Mavs may look to build their squad around their next franchise player. In his rookie season, Flagg averaged 21 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 70 appearances.

Irving is expected to be ready for the next season, and having a player of his caliber will do Flagg a world of good. They may still have a long way to go in terms of contending for a championship, but if Flagg can show significant improvements in his second season, they will have a decent chance of making it to the playoffs next year.

After winning the ROTY award, the 19-year-old revealed that he is eager to get into the gym and improve his overall skill. If he does so, he can be the answer to the prayers of Mavs fans, who were left disappointed after the shocking trade of Luka Doncic.
