Justin Gaethje beating Ilia Topuria was one of the biggest upsets in the history of MMA. The American was not expected by the MMA world at large to win this fight with him being as big as a +470 underdog heading into UFC Freedom 250. However, his win meant that anyone who bet on him cashed out big time. This includes UFC lightweight Arman Tsarukyan, who just used his winnings to buy his friend a gift.

Tsarukyan is said to be among the wealthiest fighters on the roster with an estimated net worth of $2 million. But a lot of his wealth is owed to the thriving business pursuits of his father, Nairi Tsarukyan, who is estimated to have a net worth north of $100 million. However, with the aforementioned bet, the 29-year-old lightweight has added a whopping $5.7 million to his wealth.

After betting $1 million on Gaethje, the +470 underdog’s win ended up paying out $4.7 million for the Armenian which brought his total winnings to the aforementioned $5.7 million. The No. 2 ranked UFC lightweight used this hefty payout from the bet to buy frequent collaborator Nina Drama a watch worth $12,000 which he gifted to her during a livestream.

Yeah, it’s for you. We brought it for you. Everybody who comes to visit us, we got to give the gift. So I’ll give this watch to you.

The gift left the popular content creator speechless as she gasped at how beautiful the watch was. This interaction with Nina Drama came as a part of his latest collaboration with her on Kick.

However, Arman Tsarukyan was cautioned against spending too much time with content creators while pursuing a belt in the UFC. Nonetheless, this may not be the last gifthe buys using his winnings.

After all, the Armenian lightweight had promised to buy the newly crowned UFC lightweight champion a gift after he helped him win nearly $6 million.

Arman Tsarukyan confirms that he is buying Justin Gaethje a truck

As mentioned before, Arman Tsarukyan placed a million-dollar bet on Justin Gaethje upsetting Ilia Topuria at the White House. Well, he wasn’t the one to place the actual bet on the American as later clarified by Dana White since UFC fighters are not allowed to bet on fights. Nonetheless, the Armenian won a big payout. So naturally, at the UFC Freedom 250 post-fighter presser, White was asked about it.

At the press conference, the veteran promoter suggested that the No. 2 ranked lightweight should buy the recently crowned champion a new RAM truck.

The ‘Highlight’ agreed, citing the age of his existing truck which he claims was bought when he beat Tony Ferguson for the interim lightweight belt 6 years ago. Now, in an interview with Ariel Helwani, Tsarukyan confirmed that he will indeed buy Gaethje a truck.

Of course [I will get him a truck], I just need to find out what color he wants and I’ll bring him a truck, a RAM truck, Dana White said a RAM. RAM is UFC official sponsor so maybe they will give me a discount, but if they don’t it doesn’t matter, they’re not that expensive, I’ve already checked.

The price of a new RAM truck ranges anywhere from $42,000 to $90,000 depending on the make, model and color. Ultimately, this figure is also paltry when one considers the amount of money the Armenian earned after Gaethje beat Topuria. However, despite this generous gesture may be the extent of Tsarukyan’s run-ins with the American this year.

The UFC lightweight champion revealed that he is likely not fighting again in the UFC this year. That would mean Tsarukyan has to wait even longer to challenge for the belt. Even so, he has RAF to keep him busy as he gears up a for a bout with Colby Covington with the recently retired welterweight already laying on the trash talk.
