Caitlin Clark’s Crash-Out Against Official For No Call Angers Social Media – “Immediate Technical in NBA”
Caitlin Clark has a tendency to crash out at officials when she does not get a foul call she felt she deserved.

Caitlin Clark is still on a minutes restriction as her team continues to safeguard her until they believe that she has recovered from the back issues that have plagued her season so far.
The point guard was consistently listed on the Fever’s injury report as ‘probable’ but had a flare-up that sidelined her for a few games over the past few weeks.
The Alyssa Thomas fist-to-throat incident was not the one that injured her. Rather, it was a landing space foul in that same game that saw her miss time.
Since then, it seems the Iowa native has been very cautious about avoiding getting hit during a game. She knows the wrong one can again aggravate her back issues.
Maybe that is why she crashed out during their earlier game against the Golden State Valkyries. A little less than five minutes to go in the second quarter, the 6’0″ guard tried to drive towards the rim. Even though she made the shot, she yelled at the nearest official, asking for a foul. When the official waved for the game to continue, she limped back towards the other side.

Then, when the whistle blew a few seconds later, Caitlin Clark turned towards the same official and threw her right hand in the air and went off on a heater, yelling at the official.
Fans tear into Caitlin Clark for her latest rant
The moment this video clip reached the internet, fans questioned why Caitlin Clark had to act in that manner towards the official. They felt that she was asking too much, and her complaining had returned.
Fans understood that recent incidents warrant better officiating, but they felt that the Indiana Fever star was pushing it. Many questioned why the referee did not call a technical on her, as that would have been automatic in the NBA. Check out examples of those reactions below.
That’s an immediate technical in the NBA🤷🏽♂️

Maybe she need to stop crying, play some defense and get it back on the other end. If things dont go your way on the offensive end, get it on the defensive end

Any other player would have received a Tech

I feel like this won’t get you more calls

She walked pretty normal on that march to the ref. Learn to take a hit and quit throwing tantrums.

Give her the Tech and let’s go home

Caitlin Clark eventually calmed down and continued with the game. However, with her minutes restriction and the hit she took, she eventually had to leave the game momentarily. That incident notwithstanding, the Fever lost the game 75-88 to the Valkyries.
Caitlin Clark calls out officiating
After the game, it was natural for reporters to ask Caitlin Clark about the incident and what caused her to crash out in that manner.

I got kneed right in the quad. That hurts. The ref can’t miss that. Then I had to play with a contusion in my leg the rest of the game. It was ridiculous. You can’t miss calls like that… She said I initiated the contact. Which is fine, (but) you can’t knee me in the leg, knock me over.
Caitlin Clark replied
The superstar was visibly upset with that and reiterated that the official should have called a foul on Kiah Stokes, who kneed her in that previous play.

Clark on the no-call in the 2Q when she came up limping:
“I got kneed right in the quad. … The ref can’t miss that.”
Added that the ref told her she “initiated the contact.” Said she’ll be fine moving forward. pic.twitter.com/a9MxGtUyuE
This has become a persistent problem in the WNBA over the past two seasons, with several players and coaches complaining about inconsistent officiating. It seems Clark had to make a point even though she will likely get a fine for it.
