Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley were two of the most dominant centers in their primes. The former superstars and Hall of Famers clashed a few times on the court.
However, their rivalry continued when they became analysts on Inside the NBA. The two have become good friends since and are loved by their audience for their antics and arguments.
O’Neal has spent his post-playing career collecting titles far outside basketball. Alongside 265 law enforcement officials, the four-time NBA champion added another accolade to his name as he became an honorary FBI Special Agent.
During the graduation ceremony for Session 299 of the FBI National Academy, O’Neal was giving his speech to the crowd and eventually turned his attention to Barkley.
Some of you will go back to your regular jobs, some of you will go to specialized training. Some of you will go do what I do, be undercover. Well, I was undercover. But I just wanna say I appreciate you guys so much. Congratulations. I am not here for this; I am here for you. And if you see Charles Barkley, arrest him.

O’Neal has stayed busy even after retiring from the NBA. He has earned a number of degrees post-retirement and recently earned his master’s from Louisiana State University. During the graduation ceremony at LSU, he told the announcer to introduce him as “Shaquille ‘I hate Charles Barkley’ O’Neal”.
Charles Barkley and O’Neal share a close relationship with each other and never miss the opportunity to troll each other. The audience loved his joke on Barkley and burst out laughing. O’Neal did not complete the 10-week curriculum required of actual graduates, and the distinction grants him no investigative authority or sworn status.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend has maintained a strong interest in police work for decades. During his playing career, he completed police training and served with several departments. He has spoken highly of law enforcement and did mention earlier in his career that he wanted to learn the profession rather than simply receive an honorary position.
