Over the past few days, two unexpected teams made it to the 2026 WNBA Finals. Instead of focusing on that, many fans are dissecting what Caitlin Clark said in her end-of-season exit interview.

For starters, her comments about Stephanie White and her teammates caught everyone’s attention. After all, most Indiana Fever fans felt that the head coach had stunted Clark’s performances to elevate others.

At the same time, her indecision has led to inconsistent performances throughout the regular season. Fans also blamed White and her coaching staff for not using the players properly against the Las Vegas Aces.

Apart from that one win in Game 2, that series exposed White and her staff’s deficiencies. This is why fans wanted her to leave. It is still unclear what White’s future holds. What is clear, though, is what Clark felt about playing alongside Kelsey Mitchell.

After the point guard stressed that she wants to play alongside her backcourt mate forever, the Iowa native addressed the racial hatred her veteran has faced over the last three seasons.

Why y’all making this woman stand up there like Martin Luther Queen & have to address this? Fix your own racism in your life. Oh, you can’t?

Marcellus Wiley said

This was the former NFL tight end making it clear that Caitlin Clark does not need to address everything, especially when she has nothing to do with it. Wiley believes that it is on the people to stop the racist hate, rather than the Fever superstar, who does not even say anything along those lines.

Caitlin Clark busy enjoying NFL season

No matter what Marcellus Wiley says, the world will continue debating whether Caitlin Clark should take a bigger stand against the racial hate in the WNBA.

This is especially after Indiana Fever players have made it clear they have faced this problem, some could continue asking the 24-year-old to speak up.

She has denounced the hate on several occasions, and continues to do so. But she cannot always talk about it, as that would imply that she is taking sides. The league is facing an environment where taking one side will draw opposition from the other.

Even her attempts to promote her signature shoe two days after the series loss to the Las Vegas Aces drew flak. But it seems she is undeterred and is well and truly into her offseason.

What an insane win for the Jags.

This was the Hawkeyes great’s reaction to watching the Jacksonville Jaguars flip their game against the Philadelphia Eagles in the final second.

It indicates that despite being a Chiefs fan, Caitlin Clark is catching up with her love for football, which could be a way to decompress after a disappointing WNBA season.

Caitlin Clark unveils ‘Halloween’-themed Caitlin 1 signature shoe

As soon as she decompresses, Caitlin Clark will probably go on a global tour to promote her signature sneakers. With Nike betting their resurgence on the Indiana Fever superstar’s global fame, they are rolling out more colorways than they usually do for other athletes.

This time, it was a Halloween-themed look. This edition of the Caitlin 1 features a dark green upper portion and a light green sole. The entire shoe supposedly glows in the dark, which could make it a fan favorite in the upcoming Holiday season.

There are a few more colorways planned, which means that until the start of the New Year, marketing will be strong for her first signature shoe. But this one might be the one that flips the criticism fans had when the debut colorway launched.

It seems the promotional work for her shoe will likely keep her busy and away from any reporters who might want to try to goad Caitlin Clark into talking about the negativity surrounding her team.

The last time they did it, the three-time All-Star shut them down. This time, Nike might ensure that does not repeat.
