New Maps in Halo Infinite

More maps and modes are coming in Halo Infinite Season 2, which is titled Lone Wolves, according to a new update from head of creative Joseph Staten on Friday. Spartans working alone are the motif this season, with “fierce, rugged” looks. Naturally, a new Battle Pass will be available, as well as two free Armor Cores. The release date for Lone Wolves is set for May 3, 2022.

This season, two new modes, Last Spartan Standing and Land Grab, as well as the return of King of the Hill, have been added. This season, two new maps will be released: Catalyst, an Arena map, and Breaker, a Big Team Battle map. These two maps’ idea designs are shown below (the one on the left is the one on the right).

Finally, 343 Industries confirmed that the Halo Infinite co-op campaign and Forge mode are still in the works. Season 2 will continue to be accompanied by the former, although it will not be available at the start of the season owing to a need for more polishing time. Forge mode is currently being tested with a select group of community creators, with more information to follow.
