Alexa Bliss has opened up on her time being away from action in WWE and spoke about her New Theme song. Alexa Bliss has been a prominent figure in WWE since her debut in 2013. Since her debut Alexa has won the RAW Women’s Championship 3 times and the SmackDown Women’s Championship 2 times. In addition to being the winner of the 2018 Money in the Bank, She’s one of the few Women in WWE to have won the Women’s Triple Crown Champion.
Alexa Bliss returned to action this year at the Elimination Chamber, before that she had been out of action since her last outing in September 2021, where she had a bout with Charlotte Flair for the WWE RAW women’s Championship. Bliss lost the match to flair at the event and went on hiatus for four months.
Alexa Bliss shares details of her nose surgery and her wedding
Alexa Bliss hasn’t been a part of the main Storylines since Elimination Chamber, but she has been in action with wrestlers like Sonya Deville, Doudrop, Rhea Ripley and liv Morgan following her return after Elimination Chamber.
During a recent interaction with T95 The Rock Station, Alexa revealed that she was in much need of a break after being with the company for 9 years and that she needed some time for her nose to heal, which had been broken Six times. Alexa expressed that she utilized that time to plan her wedding and go on Honeymoon thereafter.
“I had surgery, I had to get my nose all handled because, after six broken noses, it finally collapsed. But then I took that time, as well as that to plan my wedding and get married and go on my honeymoon. So it was definitely much needed. After nine years in the company to have time to actually plan a wedding and do all the stuff that’s basically because we’re on the road, almost like 200 days a year. So we don’t get a lot of time to plan stuff. So it was nice to have that time for once and kind of take advantage of that.”
Alexa Bliss also shed light on her New Theme song and how she came up with it, Alexa said that she collaborated with WWE Music and got help with the lyrics. She said that she used her creative side to make this Theme Song. Alexa debuted with her new theme song when she fought with Sonya Deville on May 9th edition of RAW.
“The new theme song that I have now I got to collaborate with WWE Music and help with the lyrics and it was a lot of fun, but never really had a lot of input on the music. So this is the first time to do that, and it was fun to use a different side of my brain creatively.”
Alexa has been married to American Musician Ryan Cabrera. They got married in Palm Desert, California on 9th April 2022.
