‘Doppelgänger alert’ on the Jimmy Fallon show as Eli Manning is mistakenly recognized

Two times the super bowl champion Eli Manning has the presence of his own and narrates an incident where he was spotted famously at a store but not quite for his fame but for the well-known Olympian Michael Phelps in the summers. He laid down the hilarious incident for his fans imitating the store owner who had mistaken only to kind of raise that doppelgänger doubt in everyone’s minds.
The internet loves a bit of a spice every now and then. Something similar happened when the two-time Super Bowl Champion was mistaken for being the Olympian and swimmer Michael Phelps. The doppelgänger alert or just a humanistic error is rhetoric left for spectators to decide, but the fun and humor the incident tied to were recently brought up on the Jimmy Fallon Show.
For those who might be unaware, Eli Manning a.k.a. Elisha Nelson Manning is an American former football quarterback having roots in the Manning dynasty of quarterback footballers. He is the son of Archie Manning and Peyton Manning’s sibling, who himself played for 16 seasons with N Y Giants.

Eli Manning’s resemblance causes a scene
The saga just didn’t end there. It continued as the store owner started calling all shoppers at the site towards the counter, in an attempt to make them meet Michael. Eli Manning laughed at the incident narrating it in the confused store owner’s words at the show making everyone laugh but ponder if he really does resemble the Olympian!
Jimmy on the Tonight Show asked the quarterback if he had ever been recognized for a different celebrity to which Eli first answered, “A lot of times,” leading to the summer incident, “I get to the counter and the guy looks at me and goes, ‘Are you who I think you are’ ” Manning said. “I’m like, ‘Yeah, I think so.’ He goes, ‘Oh my gosh! Michael Phelps is in my store!’ “
Jimmy even posted the same clip with Eli on Twitter with an uncontrollable laughter emoji, for the amusing incident that it definitely is. The fan (of Michael Phelps, we think) starts questioning Eli on his reply. “I’m like, ‘No, no, no, no, I’m not Michael Phelps,’ “Manning said. “He’s like, ‘So you lied to me?’ “ and the whole incident is the show’s highlight. LOL.
