Minnesota Vikings lineman Oli Udoh was arrested by the police from a nightclub in Miami after he was accused of following a woman into the washroom of the club. Olisaemeka Udoh, who was present in South Florida for the Vikings’ bye in Week 7, in which the team did not practice, apparently followed the woman into the washroom after talking to her previously.
As per the charges pressed by the Miami-Dade County court, Oli Udoh has been charged with one misdemeanor count of resisting an officer without violence. He has been charged with disorderly conduct and resisting a police arrest. He was present at Club E11even in the downtown Miami entertainment district and the incident was reported at around 3 a.m.

Oli Udoh was noticed by a police officer on duty who “observed the side door to the club swing open and multiple security guards attempting to restrain an aggressive” man who was later identified as Udoh. He had been talking with a woman who was in line to use the ladies’ washroom and then consequently forced his way in there. Security staff had to wrestle him out of the club.
Oli Udoh allegedly “continued actively and physically resisting officers and all verbal commands that were given to him,” the police report states according to the New York Post.
The Minnesota Vikings released an official statement following the incident, and they have admitted that they are well aware of the situation- “We are aware of (Saturday) night’s arrest of Oli Udoh and are gathering additional information at this time.”
