Two division UFC World Champion Conor McGregor started a Q&A on Twitter. In that Q&A McGregor has covered lots of interesting topics but the most interesting one was him praising Khabib Nurmagomedov! Yes, you read it right. The rivalry between these two is one of the biggest rivalries in UFC.

Their war started when Conor attacked the bus on which Khabib and his teammates were going. The fight between these two holds the record of one of the largest PPV buyouts for UFC. Conor even trash talked about Khabib’s father and his religion in the pre-fight press conference.

But Khabib humbled him when they faced each other inside the Octagon, ‘The Eagle’ led Conor to tap out during the match. After this fight, he attacked Conor’s teammates that led him to face a year of suspension from UFC. But now things seemed to be cooled down between these two.

After Khabib announced his retirement Conor appreciated his carrier record and now he posted another tweet in his appreciation.

When a Fan asked Conor McGregor about his opinion about The Eagle as a fighter “what do you honestly think of Khabib as a fighter?” on Twitter, McGregor gave his honest opinion on Nurmagomedov”.

“A phenomenal grappler fighter. The current best in the sport with it. I have the answer however and they know it.” said McGregor. This was really surprising to see as we don’t see Conor appreciating his arch-rival so often. But this time the Notorious One gave an honest reply to the question and lauded Khabib Nurmagomedov as a phenomenal grappler.

Conor McGregor has confirmed that he plans to reclaim his place at the top of the UFC’s lightweight division next year. He is now set to face Dustin Poirier in January and revealed he intends to remain active in the 155lb weight class during an entertaining Twitter Q&A.

Conor McGregor says he is committed to fighting in the UFC’s lightweight division in 2021. ‘I will commit to the 155lb division for 2021,’ McGregor responded when asked if he sees himself fighting again at welterweight. ‘Some great match-ups to be had here, as well as unfinished business. I will show the world once again who I am, and what I’m about. Trust that! 170 is in my thoughts also, however. You know me for doubling up…’

The Lightweight division is getting interesting and there is a chance that Khabib Nurmagomedov can return to UFC.
